Review the information on government evaluation policy at https://www.usaid.gov/documents/1870/strengthening-evidence-based-development-five-years-better-evaluation-practice-usaid Then review the USAID report at http://pdf.usaid.gov/pdf_docs/PDACS547.pdf . Notice that it is a mid-term report. Also notice that there are several evaluation methods employed such as focus group and key informant interviews. I want to make sure you are exposed to other means of gathering data. Review any of the reports on the site https://dec.usaid.gov/dec/home/Default.aspx. Give the link and explain what they are evaluating. Do they accomplish their objective? Are they appropriately tailored to the audience? Do you find anything exceptionally good or bad about them? Would you offer any advice? Finally, If you were doing a survey or observation to collect data for your sample project, are there things you learned from these examples that would be helpful? If so, what would they be?
