Modern sculptures, feminism, visual art, fashion designs, and globalization. I think art today is used as a way for people to express themselves in who they are and what it is they like. The art I personally like is sculptures, music, self portraits. What I have seen in this unit that I never really new about art, is that there is so many different eras to art and techniques that are considered to be art. I think this class will give me a better understanding of all the universal arts that are out there in this world, and expand my mind to appreciate my own artwork.
